Some projects need a photographer. Some need video, design, writing, promotion, or a clearer plan for how everything connects.
SGMW exists for the projects that live in those overlaps: live events, public programs, creative campaigns, performances, community moments, and organizations with stories worth sharing.
About Steve
I’m Steve Groves, a Pittsburgh-based photographer, creative producer, musician, designer, and event marketer.
My background sits at the intersection of photography, music, design, live events, marketing, and storytelling. I’ve spent years working inside concert halls, rehearsal rooms, classrooms, galleries, reception spaces, and public venues, which shapes how I approach creative work.
I understand rooms where timing matters. The goal is simple: notice what matters, work calmly, and create useful media that helps people understand and remember the moment.
